Brazilian Top Team was founded in Brazil by Murilo Bustamante to develop advanced training methods across Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, submission grappling, wrestling, and mixed martial arts.
Through technical innovation, disciplined training, and championship competition, BTT grew far beyond its original academy.
Today, affiliated academies carry Brazilian Top Team Jiu Jitsu across the United States and around the world, with teams throughout the Americas and in Europe, Asia, and Australia.
BTT Charlotte is one local academy within that international team, connected through shared knowledge, lineage, and standards.
